The work of adaptation of the Ponte das Táboas recreational area includes the construction of two in-ground pools, a demountable weir and a building for auxiliary facilities.

As an external consultant, Neikō develops the structural solutions for these three elements. Opting for a demountable weir made entirely of steel profiles fixed on top of a concrete foundation, a pool basin composed of a buried reinforced concrete box and an auxiliary building combining the traditional solution of concrete beams and pillars, along with a retaining wall on the rear perimeter and a timber beam roof.

The final solution optimizes the cost of the work while guaranteeing an aesthetically pleasing solution integrated into the river environment.
