As a technical assistant, Neikō acts as a technical advisor for the construction company in charge of the rehabilitation analyzing the suitability of the proposed solutions for the rehabilitation of the traditional masonry walls, the new floor slabs and the roof of the house.

The rehabilitation of the house focuses on recovering the original structure, modifying it and adapting it as much as possible to modern housing standards.

To achieve the most diaphanous spaces possible on the first floor, a solution was chosen using composite slabs on the second floor, supporting them perimetrically through a secondary metal structure supported by the existing stone masonry walls, which will be reinforced to guarantee their load-bearing capacity.

For the new roof, timber trusses will be installed to renovate the existing structure.
